Description to come. Added! EDIT: Added in Zaire now!

In the inevitable chaos following the Third World War, a number of nations have come to exist that, while enjoying sovereignty, are unrecognized by many nations throughout the world, either on political or ideological grounds. Despite this, with the growing irrelevance of the United Nations following the secession of the entirety of the Russian-led "New World Order" from the organization (with neutral nations doing the same after the war), matters of internaitonal recognition are secondary to local recognition, which all of the following have in some de facto capacity if not de jure.

The Land of Canaan Cooperation Organization: The Land of Canaan Cooperation Organization (LCCO) comes not from its own lack of recognition per say, but rather that of its two (three really) members. Israel was a member of the Alliance for Freedom, while Palestine joined the New World Order. And yet, the two nations maintained stalemate, as American forces busied all other Middle Eastern powers, leaving Palestine unable to take offensive tactics, but Israel unable to do the same as they were forced to combat Turkish and Egyptian amphibious incursions. The quick nuclear exchange between Saudi Arabia and Iran, with but a total of three nukes flying (one stolen American missile sent at Tehran, and two of some of the only perfected Iranian missiles launched at Riyadh) then established a new code of conduct in the region; nukes were off the table, but infantry based invasion that had already been negated was as well. With that, the Israeli-Palestine front was closed to all but suicidal radicals on both sides, as neither the Imperial Republic of Greater Russia, nor the United States of America cared to spend resources to tip the balance. Perhaps the only thing of note would be the aftermath of the collapse of Egypt; seeing opportunity, the leaders of Palestine declared their annexation of the Sinai peninsula, as well as a swath of Israeli land to connect the West Bank to this new land. Being one of the few heavy areas of fighting, said Israeli land had already been evacuated of most civilians, and most of the military had gone elsewhere as well. When the Treaty of Wellington and the subsequent Malta Peace Accords came into effect, not much changed for Israel and Palestine. As the years passed, Israel would see its first Prime Minister of mixed origins, being of a Jewish mother and an Arab father, and he would latter admit to being a Muslim, despite observing Jewish holidays for ethnic reasons. It would be he that would initiate talks with Palestine to find permanent peace, even using the term "One State Solution" on a few occasions. His assassination was not unexpected, although its culprit was: an American soldier, part of an operation by one of the various rogue groups that formed from overseas soldiers in the wake of the Second American Civil War, its purpose to destabilize the region, the group being racist in nature, hoping to have the Arabs and Jews wipe each other out. The Prime Minister's death rallied both Israelis and Palestinians, especially with the growing number of mixed couples in both states. While not unifying, the LCCO was created as an economic union and military alliance, fulfilling the dream of lasting peace in the Holy Land, and opening the path towards greater unity.

Free Nation of Persia: The Islamic Republic of Iran collapsed quickly after the destruction of Tehran, and thus its government, which had expected Saudi Arabia to be unable of nuclear retaliation. Chaos has ruled Iran ever since. The predominant government, based out of Isfahan, is the Free Nation of Persia, founded by a group of clerics and scientists who believe that it was their acts of hatred that led Allah to cause the destruction of their nation. Now, while still men of God, they are men of Science, looking to better their nation and the world, albeit their ideology is tinged heavily with nationalism. Proper technocrats, they believe that individuals must gain rank according to skill, specifically scientific and academic skill. Right now, they are attempting to secure that last few bits of rebellious territory belonging to the New Republic of Iran, a secular dictatorial regime with racial undertones based out of Ahvaz that has been led by youthful leaders, rallying around a charismatic young dictator and his symbol of the Farvahar.

Federal Republic of Novorossiya: Following the escalation of the 2013 Euromaidan Revolution and subsequent 2014 Crimean Crisis into the Donbass War, Ukraine became a brutal and bloody warzone, the first true proxy war of the 21st Century, with the European Union and Russian Federation funneling resources to each respective side. Eventually, the Russian separatists would win the day, carving out the Federal Republic of Novorossiya from the coast of Ukraine, with Sevastapol serving as a temporary capital until the city of Donetsk officially became the center of government. Serving again as a major war front during World War III, the FRN now seeks to simply exist in peace, drawing in a great deal of income from trade, and has even begun stabilizing with the Republic of Ukraine, despite the racially motivated nationalism of the latter. Many advocates of global peace look to Novorossiya as the ideal postbellum nation, a society that has begun striving towards amity with its neighbors, focuses on rebuilding infrastructure, and provides support for its returning troops. With the construction of the second Hadron Collider in 2042 in the Kherson Republic, it has since become a major science hub, despite nearly all Alliance for Freedom (or rather United Nations) countries refusing to recognize them.

Ulster Free Protectorate: The federalization of the United Kingdom into the United Kingdoms caused a great deal of unrest in Northern Ireland, specifically due to the lack of sovereignty it was ceded, instead becoming a "Semi-Autonomous Region" of the Kingdom of England. Unionists didn't really complain, but the average North Irishman did, seeing it as unfair. This led to increasing protests and even riots, with groups like Sinn Féin and even the IRA to gain more members, albeit eventually these groups would evolve into the Ulster Freedom Party and the Ulter Freedom Legion respectively in later years, with the majority of members having signed up purely out of frustration with the English. After numerous talks, the governments of London and Dublin would agree to transfer over control of the area to the Republic of Ireland, misinterpreting the situation. Unfortunately, this only made things far, far worse. In the eyes of Unionists and radical protestants, the people of Northern Ireland had been betrayed, served up to the Catholics on a silver platter. In the eyes of the neutral individual, it was a cruel act done without the consent of the people, many not connecting that the daily violence and near warzone conditions made a proper referendum nigh impossible. But after the Massacre in Belfast, everything exploded. Twelve Protestant protesters to the new Irish government died in a shoot out with police, no one sure who fired the first shot, as it was now standard to bear arms while protesting, if only for defense against bloodthirsty counter-protesters. The fact that Catholic Irishmen from southern Ireland had been sent to the local precinct in order to aid in integration of the region, and thus had been the ones to fire against the protesters, certainly didn't help. Having hijacked the Irish Republican Army's (and all its claimant's) resource, the Ulster Freedom Legion has since begun a bloody campaign to secure the region as an independent state, ruled by a Lord Protector. Having begun to purge Catholics, the aims of the UFL have discreetly begun to shift, with aims at conquering and "purifying" the entire Emerald Isle...

All Zairian People's Republic: In Africa, while the geopolitical situation remained rather unchanged due to most conflicts in the region being simply the use of African cities and ports for warfare between Eurasian and American armies, internal issue increased in the post-war world. Some places, like South Africa and Nigeria, have thrived off of the war initially, but now are suffering an immigration crisis due to this prosperity. Other locales, like the Congo, instead only got worse. The region now freshly war torn, famine and poverty increased at a terrifying rate, and it would not be long before Katanga, an already volatile region of the Congo, would begin agitating under the pressure. Beginning as groups demanding more welfare, the repeated denial of the government (still dealing with debt and disease in northern territories) saw them slowly radicalize. So-called communist revolutionaries began to operate amongst them, eventually forming the movement known as the All Zairian People's Republic, seeking to conquer the entirety of the "Congo" region (which they purport to be most of central Africa) and bring it under their rule. As the Democratic Republic of the Congo has begun to break down further, AZPR forces have expanded from controlling a few small villages to nearly all of Katanga and a bit more. Due to anit-war sentiment, most world powers are unwilling to send in troops to quash the communists.

Amazonian Green Republic: In the Lower Amazon, a peculiar movement and nation has developed, admittedly one that's rather violent. Beginning as an advanced commune for green living, hipsters and eco-enthusiasts from around the globe flocked to begin creating a sort of utopia, the war having made many wanting to escape the world and simply disappear off the grid...well, maybe still have wi-fi. Named Dilmunia, the settlement was greatly disliked by a debt-ridden Brazilian government, who sought to nationalize the eco-city for a source of revenue (once independent funding built it, of course). When offers were rejected, the Brazilian government turned to other ideas for profit; namely exploiting the Amazonian Rainforest and allowing less regulated pollution to invite business. Corporate dumpsites and mines-to-be would then begin vanishing, its crew missing and gear disabled, before eventually armed guards were able to retreat from one such location and reveal that Dilmunian militia groups had been the source, the eco-city having grown massive over the years. Sending in a military offensive, the Brazilian army suffered a humiliating defeat to these 'ragtag militias', failing to realize that as a hub of science and a place for people of all walks of life to vanish and begin again, well trained troops with advanced weaponry would be waiting for them. Fastforward a decade, and the Amazonian Green Republic, establishing several more eco-cities with under the table private funding, now controls much of the Lower Amazon, and seeks to control the entirety of the rainforest and beyond in order to protect nature and their way of life from man. Any who enter their territory unwelcomed are killed on sight, and their laws have become increasingly draconian. While a direct democracy, the word of the Directorate (the tribunal of city leaders) is law (once it has passed referendum, which invariably does, because of completely "legitimate" results). With no official flag, the most common standard is a green encircled V on a blue field, borrowing from the classic rebel culture of the V for Vendetta film and comic that so influenced many protest groups, doubling now as a national symbol, with the V standing for "Verda" (Esperanto being the primary language of Amazonia).
